Finding your way to the Department of Classics:
From the Fargo lots, enter into Fargo hall and follow the main hallway through Fargo Hall into Fillmore Hall. Continue down main hallway in Fillmore Hall. You will pass the Katherine Cornell Theatre on your right hand side. After passing the theatre, take the second hallway on your left hand side. (If you reach the food court, you have gone too far) Follow hallway and pass through the glass door at the end. Take elevator to the third floor, and follow signs to the Department of Classics, Room 338.
Getting around campus:
Campus Parking and Transportation
Parking for visitors is limited to certain lots and metered areas on each campus. Visitors to the North Campus can park in the Center for Tomorrow Lot off Flint Road, without a charge and utilize our shuttle service. Additionally, on the North Campus, Visitor Paid Parking is available in the Fronczak Lot. There is an entry charge of $4.00 ($2.00 after 1:00pm). On the South Campus, Visitor Paid Parking is in the Michael Farber Lot. Permits or receipts are required in these lots from 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Persons invited to UB by a specific department or organization of the University are considered guests and are eligible for Guest Permits (no charge). Guest Permits must be dated, and are valid in faculty/staff and student lots. One-day Guest Permits are also valid in Visitor Paid Parking areas. Permits should be obtained through the inviting department and in advance of arriving on campus.
Parking meters are available throughout the North Campus and are enforced 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Rates are 25 cents for twenty minutes. Parking permits are not valid at parking meters.
The following North Campus lots are equipped with parking meters:

- Fargo Lot
- Hochstetter B
- Jacobs A Lot
- Ketter Lot
- Park Lot
Certain lots or portions of lots have been set aside for use by faculty and staff only. These are posted, as such, at the entrance to each lot. Only valid faculty/staff permits are approved in these lots and must be properly displayed Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
